Victoria Tik

A native Californian, Victoria Tik, attended college at the University of California, Berkeley. Upon her graduation in 2007, Victoria moved to San Francisco to begin a career in corporate advertising.

The need to move on a near daily basis from her advertising office during the day, to photo shoots and other fashion-related events by night, led Victoria to search for the perfect frock, one that could do double duty. After countless failed trips and fruitless hours of online scouring, Victoria decided to make her own - a simple jersey dress that was both comfortable and fashion forward.

In 2009, Victoria launched FROCK L.A. by Victoria Tik to include a small collection of fashionable basics.. By incorporating sustainable fabrics, classic cuts and elements of drama, FROCK gave modern women the ability to believe comfort can be beautiful and responsible. Through FROCK, Victoria incorporates her love of vintage fashion and modern art into sleek and sexy designs that embrace the female form. She is inspired by the women in her life, naming each piece after someone special and empowering.

Angela Du

With a mother who designs wedding gowns and a father who is a photographer, it's no wonder that Angela Du's true calling would be in some type of art. Her parents say it all started around the age of three when she accidentally sewed a piece of fabric to the shirt she was wearing while playing in her parent's wedding studio. With influences by the "go green" movement, this tiny little Asian girl has created a big fashion statement.

Although she stumbled into the art purely by default and with no formal training, Angela is now combining her natural born talent in crafts and design to create a one-of- a-kind "fashion art" label called INKD THREAD. This young fashion artist hopes to raise awareness for social change and conserving Mother Nature's resources along with inspiring people with the message that anything is possible with a glue gun and a little imagination.

Danh Ta

Danh Ta is a designer born in Thailand to a tailor and painter. Shortly after, his family immigrated to the United States and settled in Oklahoma. Raised by parents compelled to use their artistic talents to make ends meet, the importance of creativity in life was instilled in him at an early age.

Upon graduating from high school, Danh left home to enroll in the department of fashion at The Art Institute of Dallas. During his two year study, his existing love for art and sewing flourished. He cultivated his talent for reconceptualizing the dress and executing fine craftsmanship. His education and experiences culminated in his eponymous debut line of clothing for Fall/Winter 2008.

Danh's designs are boldly contemporary while demonstrating a passion for, and attention to, the details. The result is a clothing line which is, in his words, "subtle, sensuous and chic." The Danh Ta A/W 2014-15 Collection will be on the runway for Fashion Week San Diego on October 3rd.
