A - S O N

September 9, 2013. 2:00 a.m. A-Son, a young rapper from the city of Los Angeles, meets another artist at a local bowling alley while filming his latest music video. A-Son meets him and asks if he can throw a couple bars down for him. Artist asks, "You got a 16?" A-Son answers, "I got a 100." The artist laughs and replies, "Alright. Go." A-Son then spits as many bars as he can remember to the other artist as they walk out of the bowling alley. The artist bops his head while the crowd is huddled around, tuned in and engaged. After the right amount of time, A-Son finally stops with one last breath to spare. The crowd claps and cheers. The artist tells him, "You got it. Own it. Own the ground you walk on. Own it with your heart and in everything that you do. I'll be seeing you soon." That artist was Pharrell Williams. From that point on, A-Son looks nowhere else but up as who pursues to inspire others to do the same.
